Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to ICAPFS 2026 undergo an editorial screening and peer review process to ensure scientific quality, relevance, originality, and compliance with the conference requirements.
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial evaluation will proceed to peer review by reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject of the submitted paper.
Author Registration
The author registers an account in the ICAPFS submission system. The account is used for manuscript submission, communication, revision, and monitoring the status of the paper.
Manuscript Submission
The author submits the manuscript through the conference submission system. The manuscript must follow the ICAPFS scope, template, formatting instructions, and submission requirements.
Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team performs an initial screening to evaluate the manuscript’s relevance to the conference scope, completeness, conformity with the prescribed template, academic writing quality, and compliance with submission requirements.
All manuscripts will also undergo a similarity check to identify potential plagiarism or excessive textual overlap. In addition, manuscripts will be assessed for compliance with the ICAPFS policy on the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
Authors are required to disclose any use of generative AI in manuscript preparation when applicable. AI-generated content must not replace the authors’ intellectual contribution, scientific responsibility, or accountability for the submitted work.
Initial Editorial Decision
Manuscripts that do not meet the basic submission requirements, fall outside the conference scope, show serious formatting problems, or do not comply with publication ethics requirements may be returned to the authors for correction or declined at this stage.
Manuscripts that satisfy the initial editorial requirements will proceed to the peer review stage.
Reviewer Assignment
The editor assigns the manuscript to reviewer(s) whose expertise is relevant to the topic of the paper.
The review process is conducted using a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both the authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process.
Peer Review
Reviewers evaluate the scientific quality of the manuscript, including originality, research objectives, methodology, data analysis, interpretation of results, scientific contribution, quality of references, and overall presentation.
Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editorial committee determines the manuscript decision. The decision may include acceptance, revision, or rejection.
Revision by Author
Authors receiving revision requests must revise their manuscript according to the reviewers' comments and provide appropriate responses to the issues raised during the review process.
Revision Evaluation
The revised manuscript is evaluated by the editor and, when necessary, may be returned to the reviewer to determine whether the comments and recommendations have been adequately addressed.
Final Acceptance and Publication Process
Manuscripts that have successfully completed the review and revision process will receive final acceptance and proceed to the publication preparation stage in accordance with the ICAPFS publication policy.
Final Manuscript Preparation
Accepted authors complete the required administrative and publication procedures. The final manuscript will then proceed to editing, formatting, proceedings preparation, and publication processing.
